Seaboard Coast Images is a collection of photographs taken in Louisiville, New Orleans, Jackson, Birmingham, Montgomery, Detroit, and other important railroading cities.
While the photographs center on CSX and Norfolk Southern motive power and rolling stock, there are significant sections on Amtrak, Illinois Central-CN, Kansas City Southern, New Orleans Public Belt, Paducah & Louisville, Southern Pacific, and Union Pacific.
My photographs were intended to document the equipment for historical and modeling purposes. The collection contains approximately 30,000 photos, all of which will eventually be posted to the site. My goal is to add approximately 100 photos to the site per week, so this project will take six years to complete.
There is a periodic blog associated with Seaboard Images. It can be accessed here:

Seaboard Coast Images also has a Facebook presence that can be visited here. If you prefer, please feel free to comment or ask questions through that forum rather than via email.
Seaboard Coast Images preserves railroading history for the 1995-1999 period.
The majority of images were taken at the CSX (X-L&N) Gentilly Yard in New Orleans East, the NS Oliver Yard and Oliver Junction at Florida Avenue, NOPB's France Road Yard, and the former IC yard in Jackson, Ms. Photos from Louisville, Kentucky and Dearborn/Detroit are featured as well.
While motive power is very well represented, rolling stock is emphasized. One mission of Seaboard Images is to raise the profile of rolling stock to be co-equal with motive power as an item of interest for both railfans and modelers.
